Christina and Isaac / Vik, Iceland Adventure Session

February 24, 2020

Ok so it’s seriously about time I blogged this session from Iceland back in October!

When Christina & Isaac got in touch about their plans for an engagement session during their trip to Iceland and the vision they had for it, I knew we HAD to make it work! We did their session at the famously known Reynisfjara beach, which is a huge long stretch of black volcanic sand beach in Vik, Iceland. Seriously – one of the most incredible places on this planet!

These guys made frolicking and dancing around a black sand beach in ice cold temperatures more fun than you can imagine! It was literally the coldest day with a storm creeping in, but they didn’t care – Christina and Isaac have adventure in their blood!

Theres something seriously amazing about the power of the internet that connects strangers from the other side of the world, ending up in a different country to capture some incredible moments together. I seriously have to pinch myself sometimes that this is my job.

The best part about shooting sessions like these is the relationships we get to form with our couples. I have seriously loved staying connected with Christina and Isaac and getting to follow along their adventures around the world! Christina actually writes and incredible travel blog that you can check out here! You can also follow all her travels on insta. I’ll warn you though – this girl will give you itchy feet and you’ll be booking plane tickets sooner than planned!

What amazing photos. You are a creative photographer, but from what I see you had a stunning couple to work with. The contrast of the color are breathtaking. How inspiring!

Thanks so much Henry! They were such a fab couple to work with. Christinas co-ordination with the red dress really made it pop!

Isaac and Christina’s photographs are so dramatically amazing! The choice of volcanic sand and rocks as backdrop created a mysterious, romantic and otherworldly atmosphere that we loved!
Isaac and Christina look fantastic! Well done!

Ah thanks so much Luisa! It really was such a fun adventure.
