Photographing Rebecca and Christopher’s wedding at Magheramorne Estate was an absolute dream! This venue, nestled along the scenic Antrim coast, offers a blend of historic charm and natural beauty that’s a dream for any photographer. Their wedding just gave absolutely whimsical vibes and I am so here for it!
The day kicked off with Rebecca and the girls getting ready in the estate’s bright and airy bridal suite. I am OBSESSED with this bridal suite! The natural light streaming through the windows was perfect for capturing those intimate moments—the laughter, the anticipation, and the final touches before she walked down the aisle. How stunning is her dress from Bridal Elegance?
The ceremony took place in the estate’s gorgeous ballroom. Pastor James Clarke did a fabulous job marrying them and making the ceremony unique to them. The decor and flowers from Wild Blossom Floral Studio were out of this world!
One thing I loved about their day was that straight after the ceremony, they cut the cake so their guests could enjoy this during their drinks reception. It went down a treat! Kudos to Connie Thompson Cake Design for the incredible cake. (I may have snuck a bite or two)
We explored Magheramorne Estate’s lush gardens and historic architecture for the couple’s portraits. The vibrant colors provided a stunning backdrop. The hydrangea bushes down by the pond made it feel like an absolute fairytale!
The decor for the reception was so carefully thought out and I especially loved the table names being Northern Irish slang! The guests loved it and it created a lively atmosphere. The speeches were heartfelt and full of laughter, the dancing was a joy. Capturing candid moments of guests enjoying themselves added to the story of the day.
Just before the evening reception kicked off, we had fun creating some different portraits in the bridal suite. You’ll see these at the end of the gallery, but let’s just say they were up for anything!
Rebecca and Christopher’s wedding at Magheramorne Estate was a dream day for a dream couple. I feel so blessed that since this, I have had the experience of capturing them adding a new little addition to their family and this just makes my heart so full – getting to watch my couples families grow.
